  1. I don’t see how any of these stories were censored. “Ignored” would be a better word.

  2. Works out about the same. For those of us who actively sift and cull for news, they may not seem new. But I suspect the majority of Americans, busy trying to ignore painful realities, don’t know about them at all.

  3. However, the point of the post, I assume, is to make people aware of stories like these. If they are mischaracterized as censorship, thoughtful, fair-minded people will tune it out, or dismiss it as hyperbolic rhetoric.

Exaggeration undermines credibility, and credibility is necessary for persuasion. So, no, I don’t think it works out about the same. Just my opinion. Thanks for listening.

    • Maybe it’s “soft censorship” when they do whatever late Friday afternoon, and the MSM barely (if even) notices, and the “citizens” are so overwhelmed by trying to live and find their way thru all the info-noise, and then it’s on to whatever’s next.

Perception management and manipulation have gone a long way beyond heavy-handed old fashioned censorship. The style has changed. But the intent….we must never forget!…the intent is very much the same.

If these stories were buried, it was because they were important.
