The Mysterious Deaths of Nine Gulf Oil Spill Whistleblowers
In the past year, nine vocal critics or potential whistleblowers of the Gulf oil spill all died in extremely mysterious ways. [Ed note: two others are also included here: one missing, one jailed.] Their deaths could be strange, unrelated coincidences. Or they could have been killed as part of a conspiracy to silence those who were speaking out against the worst oil spill in American history.

February 17, 2011 – LSU scientist Gregory Stone, 54 – Unknown Illness
January 26, 2011 – age 31 – Mississippi Department of Marine Resources officer, from Ocean Springs arrested on child porn charge.
January 19, 2011 – former President and CEO of the International Oil Spill Control Corporation – imprisonment and subsequent murder while jailed
December 31, 2010 – a former Pentagon official and presidential aide and a defense consultant and expert on chemical and biological weapons – was beaten to death in an assault, body was discovered in a Wilmington landfill
November 23, 2010 – an incident commander for BP’s Gulf of Mexico oil spill response team, died Tuesday night near Destin, Florida in a small plane crash’
November 15, 2010 – age 33, worked in the USF Center for Biological Defense and Global Health Infectious Disease Research – Found dead in an apparent suicide by cyanide at a Temple Terrace hotel. She leaves behind a husband and a young child.
November, 2010 – MIA Status, of Lakeland, FL – Swan expert who “ran into legal trouble over an expired prescription license has closed his practice” — Was investigating unexplained bird deaths near Sarasota abruptly and immediately closed his practice, and apparently his investigation into the deaths of swans in Sarasota, suspected to have been impacted by the BP Oil Disaster. October 6, 2010 – age 66, was hit by a truck as he passed through Panama City, Florida. Mr. Grooters had been knocked down and killed close to the end of a 3,200-mile trans-America charity ride to raise awareness about the Gulf Coast oil disaster. He began his cross-country bike ride in Oceanside, California, on September 10th. Grooters’s family and friends will cycle the final stretch of the journey from the Pacific to the Atlantic in his honour, raising cash to support Gulf Coast families. Read more: here
August 9, 2010 – Senator Ted Stevens of Alaska, 86, the longest-serving Republican senator in history, was among nine people on board when the 1957 DeHavilland DHC-3 Otter, crashed into a brush- and rock-covered mountainside Monday afternoon about 17 miles north of the southwest Alaska fishing town of Dillingham, federal officials said. Stevens was the recipient of a whistleblower’s communication relative to the BP Oil Disaster blow-out preventer, and a conspiracy of secrecy to hide the facts from the public. More here
A 48-year-old veteran oil worker claims “You and your fellow Committee members may wish to require BP to explain what action was ultimately instituted to cease the practice of falsifying BOP tests at BP Prudhoe drilling rigs. It was a cost saving but dangerous practice, again endangering the BP workforce, until I exposed it to Senator Ted Stevens, the EPA, and the Alaska Oil and Gas Conservation Commission.” The cause of the crash is still an OPEN investigation by the NTSB.
August 13, 2010 – age 67 – Simmons’ body was found Sunday night in his hot tub, investigators said. An autopsy by the state medical examiner’s office concluded Monday that he died from accidental drowning with heart disease as a contributing factor – “It was painful as can be” to be only insider willing to speak out against the “officials” during the BP Oil Disaster in the Gulf of Mexico
April 6, 2010 – age 46 – cell biologist and college professor, a near-native Floridian who chose to return to South Florida after studying at elite universities – was fatally shot during what police say was a home invasion robbery.

Interesting, it does seem really compelling at first glance. The sample pool of people that could be targeted for assassination under the criteria presented here has to be at least in the hundreds of thousands; environmental scientists, activists, politicians, ex-employees, government workers etc. would all have knowledge about BP not immediately available to the lay public. If you are advancing a hypothesis you have to count both the hits and misses in your data sample to test it. What made these 9 special?

This question will probably upset some people, but I don’t really care: How many whistleblowers have not “mysteriously” died? If it’s 9 of 20, that’s one thing. But if it’s 9 out of 200, it’s really not that strange.
And some of these deaths aren’t even that mysterious. Drowning because of heart disease followed by (I assume) heart failure? Really?
Also, I checked the numbers for aircraft accidents, and they are relatively high for smaller aircraft.
The amount of home invasion robberies with a fatal ending in Florida aren’t few either.
These are the ones I looked up, and I’m sure you can find about the same statistics for the other ones.
Final point: These deaths happened over the course of a little more than 10 months. It’s less than 1 person a month.

Depends, those 9 (well, 11) folks may have been taken out because the information they were handling were key points that bridged hundreds of other testimonies only bearing circumstantial relevance without the supporting, verifying, or context providing info these guys held. If you have billions of dollars to spend on silencing folks you are going to hire smart assassins who know how to create deaths that seem commonplace. Your questions are valid, but I like to keep an open mind when all of the information is not at hand to the general public. You are assuming it’s no big deal but your argument is as hypothetical as my reply. Try to be more objective. We may have to accept that most of us never really know what goes on in this world, much of the time.

I’m skeptical, but some of those deaths sound very suspicious. I’d love an update in the future.
The compelling part is that all of those deaths are very very easily caused by assassins. Cyanide? Seriously? What is this, MI5? Heart attack in a hot tub (common, yes) is very easily done. I doubt the coroner had any reason to check his heart for air bubbles. The small airplane crashes… have you ever seen a movie? Small airplanes in private hangers are not exactly under high security. Killed in prison, classic. Fake home invasion, classic.
It’s a great story, but the only evidence is the absence of evidence. But the fact that they’re all whistleblowers makes for a disturbing coincidence.

This brings to mind the unexplained deaths of at least 3 inventors and builders of steam or hydrogen-powered cars back in the 60s & 70s – before the ‘Oil crisis’.

The one death that I find most disturbing is the “suicide” by Mrs Chitra Chaunhan.
Can anyone believe that a woman in her position – choose to end her life with no regard to her family?
This particular case smells worst then seafood from the gulf.

Look at the socio-economic status of these people, and the stats of likelihood for murder/incarceration go WAAAAAY down. 😛 There is also something unusual about the deaths because of what they were all involved with.

The Gulf oil spill is still an ongoing disaster….the dispersants used are only making it more toxic. Yes, it is very easy to see these deaths could be suspicious. And, the oil giant rolls on, the environment, and our food supply be damned. Here in Canada, they are trying to push through a huge pipeline from the Alberta oil sands, across pristine BC wilderness, to the Pacific….en route to China. A recipe for environmental disaster…..disgusting. What kind of world are we leaving for our children?

John P. Wheeler, 67, a West Point grad, was beaten and thrown into a garbage dumpster. His body was discovered in a Wilmington, Del. landfill last New Year’s weekend. Both police detectives and news commentators described it as “an apparent hit,” but little else was ever learned, and no suspects have surfaced.
There was great speculation by many at the time that Wheeler had begun to blow the whistle on the mysterious bird and fish deaths in Arkansas and Texas,( note the term “great speculation” rather than documented or proven, the fish and the birds- there was nothing mysterious- only the reasons given were not accepted by the conspiracist) and was about to expose the facts tying this to the chemtrails seen in our skies over the past decade. (first you have to believe in chemtrails and THEN explain their connection with the DWH disaster)
Matthew Simmons, 67, a former energy advisor to President George W. Bush and admired among survivalist groups for his dire warnings on the upcoming commodity and fuel shortages about to hit this nation, died in his hot tub in Maine last August. (to accept this a person would have to accept that the state of Maine and it’s officers have been subverted by BP to have their coroner file a false report)
Only four days later, Ted Stevens, the 87-year-old defrocked senator from Alaska, said to have received communications regarding BP’s faulty blowout preventer, perished in a plane crash.(Said communication has never been documented or a reason why an ex-senator from Alaska was communicated about anything happening in the GoM. And the BOPs did NOT belong to BP and a faulty BOPs would have helped BP blame TransOcean)
Roger Grooters began a cross country bike ride in Oceanside, Calif. on Sept. 10 to draw attention to the Gulf Coast oil disaster. On Oct. 6, in front of the horrified eyes of his wife, who was trailing in a support vehicle, Grooters was struck by a truck and killed instantly in Panama City, Fla. (Never an explanation of the accident, did the trucker swerve off the road or did the biker swerve on to the road? One man on a bicycle with a sign is not a real threat to BP especially when the ride was near finished. Simple to ignore, when the ride is over it would be forgotten.)
Only a month later, Dr. Geoffrey Gardner of Lakeland, Fla. disappeared. He was investigating the unexplained bird deaths near Sarasota that are suspected to have been caused by the BP oil disaster. No one has heard from or spoken with him since. ( A veterinarian, his prescription license had expired and charges pending about some questionable prescriptions, so decided to retire and hide. Be that as it may .He has had a business listing at the Lakewood Veterinary Clinic in Lakewood, Fl since 4/11/2011 so he is back.)
On Nov. 15, Chitra Chaunhan was found dead of cyanide poisoning in a Temple Terrace, Fla. hotel. It was officially ruled a suicide. She worked in the Center for Biological Defense and Global Health Infectious Disease Research. The following week, James Patrick Black, director of operations for BP’s restoration organization for the oil spill, died near Destin, Fla. in a small plane crash. ( attempting a night landing in bad weather after local airport closed. Why would BP kill one of their own? And how did BP subvert the FAA and the state of Florida again)
Dr. Thomas B. Manton was one of the first to warn the public that far more oil than what BP had reported was gushing into the gulf every day and that the massive, toxic oil and chemical plumes would travel up the eastern seaboard, contaminating beaches and wildlife all the way – never happened. (killed in prison by other prisoners, he was serving 15 yrs for child porn charges predating the drlg of MC-252. He never filed any appeals, no one, not any of the rights group or those crying his merits file any on his behalf. Illegal conviction? Again BP would have to subvert law enforcement and judicial system of Florida.)
Dr. Tom Termotto, national coordinator of the Gulf Oil Spill Remediation Conference, says Manton was murdered in prison. Manton had been sentenced to 15 years last August on a phony child pornography charge. Termotto and others say evidence was planted on his computer. As an officer with the Mississippi Department of Marine Resources on the Gulf Coast, he may have known enough to qualify him for membership in this exclusive series of coincidences. ( again suggestion without documentations) He faces up to 40 years in prison if convicted. ( again the state of Florida subvert)

Obviously you were banned for that specific reason, and no other. And not by Ms Smith, but by “government agents” using “other means” to ban you on a private website, with no way for anyone who runs that website to notice and/or do anything about it (such as unbanning you).
